Alohiki created a one of a kind backdrop display, with our genuine driftwood posts and 100 cranes, lovingly hand folded cranes by our couple and their ohana.  A bento style dinner was a definite highlight of the night. Our sweet bride Aisha, carefully planned out all the little details that made her wedding so unique and fun.

When the Four Seasons asked what we could do to drape the ballroom but so that it wasn't too overwhelming. Our lead designer created this look. We created custom Silver Drum shades in house and had the projections made to the couple's specification.

​HIE are miracle workers!
Hannah, John and the HIE team literally saved our March 2020 wedding! My husband and I were married on the Big Island just before COVID reached the islands, and in the week leading up to our big day there was much uncertainty and stress about potential restrictions and lockdowns. We had already arranged extensive rentals with the HIE team (tables, chairs, flatware, lighting, linens, etc.) and quickly had to pivot to accommodate a rapidly changing guest count and layout. I know many other recent brides unfortunately understand the pain of watching your carefully made plans fall apart, however Hannah stepped in gracefully and helped pick up the pieces to ensure our day was still a success. From jumping in when our original coordinator cancelled last minute, to surprising us with unexpected details (the light up ‘Aloha’ sign was magical!), to simply listening and reminding us it was all going to work out in the end Hannah, John and the HIE team truly made us feel like we were part of their ohana. And that’s not even to say anything about their beautiful inventory of rental pieces! Simply put they transformed our space into the reception of our dreams. HIE went above and beyond for us and I would 100% recommend working with them. Great work, easy to work with, and the product is exceptional.

​We created this Barn Wood Canopy with lots of sheer white drape for an intimate dinner for 50ish. Our Barn Wood King's table make a nice wide foundation for the gorgeous linens and flowers by Heidi. Custom, in house, designed Drum shades are perfect for lighting the canopy. It was just enough light without being overpowering.

Featured in Ceci Style, New York, Kelly and, local boy, Kaniela, tie the knot along the picturesque shores of Kaunao'a Bay.The Mauna Kea Resort is a beloved place. Vacationers from the 60s return year after year to re-live the memories created at this tropical playground. Hawaii Island Events collaborated with the bride's mum, Gail, to create a one of a kind, Beach Chic village. Gail wanted the Friends of Honor to be welcomed with open arms. Bringing a large amount of decor elements with them, the Ohana made it so personal, we felt as if we knew them for years.
Images captured by Tamiz, on Maui, were so fabulous they made me sweat. Thank you Ceci for featuring a Hawaii Island Events design. Classic, clean lines of this gas fire pit paired with this handsome modular seating makes for a comfortably elegant lounge. Take the banquette out of the dining room! We are in love with our new "sweet seats", a fresh diversion from the usual chairs.

When it's sunny at Kahua Ranch we consider ourselves blessed. This particular day was a stunner.

Brimming with sun kissed colors in the blush glassware and copper plate. We love this look next to our Hawaiian sunsets. The cotton candy colors in the sky is explainable. Delicate rosebuds and our Venetian Lace runners are a nod to this beautiful bride's feminine and sweet style.
