PREFERRED VENDOR LISTS

We are on some of the most exclusive property and venue preferred vendor lists.​....B U T

Before we talk about vendor lists, you have to understand it's purpose.
Vendor lists were created as a way for prospective clients, of a particular venue, to first find the best of the best in the industry as well as understand who has met the venue and/or industry standards. 
Most vendors will be asked to provide a COI or certificate of insurance, naming the venue as additional named insured. 

​Why this is good for the customer
​This is especially useful to the destination customer because they are probably not familiar with all the fabulous vendors here on the island, nor do they know who meets and/or exceeds the venue's expectations. With names like Kukio, Kohanaiki, Auberge and Hale Wailele, it goes without saying, that the bar is set pretty high. Not to mention the venue is usually one of the first choices you'll make.

​Now let's talk about why not all vendors who are on the list is right for you.
Vendors come in all sizes and specialties. Some are new and eager to satisfy all you require. 
However, not all venues vet their vendors by their qualifications. What I mean is, I was once asked if I wanted to be on a vendor list because the venue "liked our vibe" Albeit flattering, safety, skill, insurance and a lot of other criteria should be at the top of your list. Insurance is another issue. If vendors are selling you lighing packages, are they insured for that?
I can go on for days on this topic alone, but we recommend you do your homework.
