Cake toppers are special to the couple, uniquely defining their union. So it's easy to see why the go to answer might be "terribly tacky", we beg to differ! It's a small cost in the grand scheme of things, but have you heard of "the straw that broke the camel's back". If you are traveling to Hawaii for your wedding you have already discovered the surmounting cost to get items to an island, not to mention your guests... Then, what do you do with it after the fact. You'd have to gently pack it, safely transport it and accommodate for it's space amongst all the rest of the stuff you're already taking back. Where does it end?
